The diamond on these pads sits on the surface rather than in resin, which removes the friction that causes resin burn on man-made quartz. Many stonemasons flatten with resin pads up to #200 or #400, then switch to these to bring up the shine.

Made for quartz and engineered stone, originally from floor refurbishment work
10mm thick rigid sponge body
Use wet up to 3000rpm or dry up to 2000rpm
Grits from #300 to #10000, sold singly or as a set of 7

Sizes: 100mm and 125mm. Larger sizes are available but the price rises steeply with diameter.

Had my doubts at first but left a lovely smooth finish. It performs better than the more expensive ones I have tried. Does the job and then some. The Quartz Rigid Sponge Diamond Polishing turned up quickly and works a treat.
